We launched Art Collection in 2019 to combine art and sustainability in a limited-edition capsule collection that would bring the visual message of local artists who love nature and the mountains to the world. The first collection was based on the watercolours of winter mountain landscapes by Ricardo Montoro. For the second, it was the illustrations born from the imagination of Marcos Navarro that gave life and colour to the collection. In the third, the memories of Andrea Plumed's mountain walks were chosen to become t-shirts and sweatshirts made with organic cotton, and in the 2024/25 collection, it is the illustrations of Jerjes Llopis created with BIC pen in his original proposal that allow us, in his words, to "caress the wind, breathe the smell of wet earth, observe botanical and mineral morphologies, and listen to the heartbeat of our circadian rhythms blending with the fauna."
The collection we will launch in 2026, which could be illustrated with your works, will consist of 4 clothes: 2 men's short-sleeved t-shirts in 2 colours, 2 women's short-sleeved t-shirts also in 2 colours, and 1 hoodie for both men and women. All the clothes from the different collections launched over the years have been made with organic cotton and recycled materials because the message we want to send from Trangoworld is that it is possible to make technical mountain clothes and outdoor clothing while being environmentally friendly. We have even eliminated the dyeing processes of the clothes since the colour comes from the recycled clothes separated by colours to obtain threads of the desired colour; this greatly reduces water consumption and completely eliminates the use of chemicals in the process.
What are we looking for? Restless, creative people who love nature and the mountains, aligned with our values, and have a special ability to turn emotion, passion, and commitment into ideas, creative concepts, illustrations, or drawings that can become quality clothes designed to last and accompany those who buy them on their adventures for many years. Specifically, we want you to send us 3 original proposals that reflect what the mountains mean to you, with which you would like to illustrate the 2026 collection, as well as a reinterpretation of our logo adjusted to your visual proposal.
What do we offer? Our almost 100 years of experience in the design, manufacture, and marketing of technical mountain clothing and outdoor equipment that have accompanied thousands of people on their adventures, expeditions, and mountain outings. Our extensive commercial network both nationally and internationally. Our thousands of ambassadors, friends, followers, and collaborators who help us spread the message of a healthy lifestyle, outdoor activity, sustainability, quality, and performance to all corners of the world. In addition, the proposal selected by the jury to illustrate the 2026 collection will receive a prize of €2,000 in cash and their name will be included on both the clothes and all the promotional pieces launched to publicize the collection, both physical and digital.
How to participate? By clicking on the button below, you will have access to the registration form where we will ask for some basic information about you. Once we receive your registration, we will send you your participation code together with a dossier with basic elements to take into account when preparing your proposal, and you will have until 13/09/2024 to send it to us.
Deadlines: The registration phase for participants opens on July 1, 2024, and runs until September 13, 2024, when the deadline for receipt of proposals is also 13 September 2024. The jury appointed to select the winning proposal will announce its choice on Monday, September 30, 2024, and the collection will be launched in spring/summer 2026, and will be available until spring/summer 2027 or while stocks last.
