A DESIGN INSPIRED BY MOUNTAIN SENSATIONS

Discover ART COLLECTION 2024

Art Collection is limited edition of t-shirts and sweatshirts that we launch every year, where we combine art, mountains, exclusivity, and sustainability. All of them are made from recycled cotton and viscose, and no dyes are used in their production since their colour comes from the original colour of the cotton that is recycled for their creation.

Jerjes Llopis (Valencia, 1978) is an artist that combines his passion for illustration with his love for outdoor activities and mountains. His work, originally created using BIC® Cristal pens take us to to "caress the wind, breathe the smell of wild forest, enjoy botanical and mineral morphologies, and to listen to the heartbeat of our circadian rhythms blending with the fauna.

The mix of his art and our clothes result in an original collection full of personality and message.

Art Collection was born in 2019 as a collaboration with Ricardo Montoro, a painter and high mountain guide based in the Aragonese Pyrenees, which resulted in a series of 5 t-shirts made from natural and sustainable fabrics recreating his watercolours of winter mountain landscapes. After seeing the success of the collection, we decided to turn the collection into an opportunity for emerging artists who combine their art with a passion for the mountains. In 2022, we launched for a call for artists through our social media, and Marcos Navarro, an illustrator, designer, athlete, and writer, was chosen to be featured in that year's collection. In 2023, we received more than 140 different proposals, and the organic forms created by the artist from Teruel, Andrea Plumed, based on her most intimate memories of her mountain walks, won the contest.

Designs and sustainability

The combination of art and sustainability is the foundation of the Art Collection capsule we launch each year to highlight local artists.

This year's illustrations comes from Jerjes Llopis, who created them with pen in his original proposal. The sustainability component comes from the fact that all the clothes are made whith recycled cotton without additional dyeing processes.

By doing it his way, cotton will live a second life without generating waste or consuming resources, as discarded cotton clothes are separated by colours and processed to obtain new threads from them so that the final fabric has the desired colour without the need to dye the cotton again. Thus saving a large amount of water and eliminating all the chemicals used for the dyeing process.

This collection is a clear example that design and sustainability can go hand in hand to create versatile, comfortable, and attractive clothes that can be wore at any time.
